"Safety in Numbers"
"1+1=3" is the second episode of the first season of Touch. It originally aired on March 22, 2012, on FOX.
Martin is led to a pawn shop where a robbery triggers a sequence of unpredictable events that connect a distraught flight attendant in New York, a son visiting from India on a mission to spread his father’s ashes, a middle school magician in Moscow, a cancer patient in New York and a mobster in the Bronx.
- Although this is the second episode of the series, Fox advertised it as the series premiere.
- "Human beings are not the strongest species on the planet. We're not the fastest, or maybe even the smartest. The one advantage we have is our ability to cooperate, to help each other out. We recognize ourselves in each other and were programmed for compassion, for heroism, for love, and those things make us stronger, faster and smarter. That's why we've survived. It's why we want to."
- —Jacob Bohm (not spoken aloud)
