Danny Lebern Glover - born July 22, 1946 in San Francisco, California - is an American actor, film director, and political activist who portrays Professor Arthur DeWitt on the FOX series Touch. While Glover is best known for his role as Detective Roger Murtaugh in the Lethal Weapon film franchises, he is also recognizable from several other roles including Mr. Albert Johnson in The Color Purple, Michael Harrigan in Predator 2, corrupt cop James McFee in Witness, Detective David Tapp in Saw and George Knox in Angels in the Outfield. In addition to these more well-known roles, he has also appeared in numerous other movies, television shows, and theatrical productions throughout his career.
