Nandu is the identical twin sister of Veronique, who lived in France after being sold on the black market.
Biography[]
Before the events of Touch, Veronique was born an hour after Nandu on March 1, 1991 to Cabbie and Simrin. However, the family allowed for her to be sold on the Black Market by Dr. Knox since they didn't have the means to support two children. Veronique ended up relocated to France.
Nandu appears in Zone of Exclusion. Veronique appears at a science museum on a live satellite screen where she is able to see the children inside. Jake Bohm takes a liking to her, and she evens places her hand in his. The girl seems to recognize Simrin, who exclaims "This can't be happening" and leaves at the sight of Veronique. Veronique believes that the woman, Simrin, is her birth mother. It is soon learned that she had a twin sister (Nandu) who shares the same birthday, the same birthplace, and the same allergy. At the end of the episode, Cabbie, Simrin, Veronique, and Nandu are all reunited as a happy family after stopping, with the help of Jake Bohm and his father, the monster that separated them.
